The Greene School in West Palm Beach is inviting families to attend “Maker Night” on April 18, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The event is free and registration is required.
This first annual Maker Night presents an opportunity for families to see and experience first-hand the many positive ways in which students are engaging in innovative teaching and learning practices here on campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of
21st–Century learning topics highlighted via hands-on demonstrations.Maker Night at The Greene School is a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement. Part science fair and part something entirely new, Maker Night is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, educators, parents, and students.
The Greene School goals are: 1) to get families interested in what's out there in the world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM); 2) to allow families to work on small projects together; and 3) to showcase what The Greene School does as a community.

The event will have Maker Stations around The Greene School campus. Each station is designed to engage families in the act of Making. We will have individual projects (i.e. design a robot from a toothbrush) to large group projects (i.e. campus QR code scavenger hunt) and much more.
